The Nambark Ethnic School Project (Laos)
If you are a rural high school student living in Northern Laos, going to high school isn't as easy as just waking up and hopping on a bus to school. Students from ethnic minorities like the Hmong and Khmu peoples travel from far and wide to reach to the Nambark Ethnic School, where they live for most of the schoolyear. The Rustic Pathways Foundation partnered with the Nambark Ethnic School with the aim of expanding access to secondary education while improving the quality of life for students at Nambark. In 2015, the RP Foundation completed construction of a dormitory which now serves as a home for more than 200 students. As of April 2015, we are nearing completion of a brand new girls' toilet block. Moving forward, we are committed to the same mission of expanding access to secondary education and improving the living conditions at the school. With your help, we can provide mosquito nets, improved ventilation, and reading lights allowing students to work in the evenings.
Join us in our efforts to improve education in rural Laos. A little effort goes a long way!
