The Rustic Pathways Children's Home (Thailand)
For a young Thai student living in the hills in northwest Thailand, access to secondary education is all-too rare. Rustic Pathways is doing our part to build sustainable solutions for students in this region, but we need your support!
Most students will be able to attend primary school, but secondary school is often out of the question. There is too much getting in the way of Thai students who want to attend secondary school, like cost of living in a larger city, paying for books and school uniforms, or sacrificing the labor that the student would provide on their family's rice field. Parents might prefer that their child travel to a larger city to find factory work or other work to support the family's income. The Rustic Pathways Children's Home (RPCH) aims to address this issue by increasing access to secondary education for rural Thai students.
RPCH bridges the gap to secondary education for rural Thai students by providing them with a safe place to stay, three nutritious meals per day, academic support, coverage of medical expenses, and much more. Living at the Rustic Pathways Children's Home is a privilege for the thirty students who currently stay there. It costs less than $2000 per year ($167/month) for one student to stay at the Rustic Pathways Children's Home. What can you do help?
