Build New Homes (New Orleans)
Bring another New Orleans family home!
Rustic Pathways Foundation's goal of $25,000 will sponsor a home for a family eager to return home.
St. Bernard Project is a New Orleans-based, national disaster resilience and recovery organization whose mission is to reduce the time between disaster and recovery. Since 2010, Rustic Pathways has partnered with the St. Bernard Project (SBP), volunteering in New Orleans to help rebuild homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Many of the families whom SBP supports own their homes but cannot afford to rebuild without help and many of them have fallen victim to contractor fraud or insufficient insurance payouts. It's hard to believe, but nearly 11 years after Katrina there are still thousands of New Orleans residents who have not been able to rebuild.
